Frequently asked questions
Do I need to know how to dance?
No. From 23:30 to 00:30 there are salsa and bachata workshops included with your ticket, designed so anyone can get started. After that, social dancing until closing time.
Can I come on my own?
Yes, lots of people do. In social dancing you change partners from one song to the next, and it's completely normal to ask anyone to dance, even if you've never met.
How much is a ticket?
Advance tickets are sold online on Worldtickets and are the cheapest option (each event's price is in the calendar). At the door: 1 ticket, €15 (with 1 drink or 2 soft drinks) and 2 tickets, €20.
What are Karamelo's opening hours?
On Saturdays we're open from 23:30 to 05:30: workshops from 23:30 to 00:30, then social dancing. Tardeo SBK runs from 18:00 to 23:30 on the dates we announce. Special events have their own times in the calendar.
Is there a minimum age?
Yes, Karamelo is for over-18s only. Bring your ID card, NIE or passport: you may be asked for it at the door.
What music do you play?
Salsa, bachata and kizomba (SBK) with DJs who specialise in social dancing.
How do I get to Sala Cha3?
We're at Calle de San Pol de Mar, 1 (Moncloa, 28008 Madrid), right next to Príncipe Pío station: Metro L6, L10 and Ramal, plus Cercanías commuter trains.
How does the Karamelo Card work?
